# Nahuel Gómez Suárez

**Full stack developer — Mar del Plata, Argentina**

> Systems in production, not demos.

A multi-tenant SaaS with customers paying today, the platform behind two real
ecommerce stores, and management systems modelled on how each business actually
works.

## How he works

I do not build demos. I build things other people open every morning to do their
job.

I design and build the whole system: data model, API, payment integrations and
deployment. Then I maintain it while the client uses it, which is where you find
out whether it was built properly.

What interests me is the moment a system stops being a project and becomes
something someone depends on to do their job.

## Systems in production

Three systems, all running right now.

### 01 · mëtalix

**Own product · Live**

Multi-tenant SaaS for scrapyard management, built end to end.

- **Problem.** Scrapyards run appointments, weigh-ins and payments on
spreadsheets or one-off systems built by hand for each business. No way to
scale, no way to onboard a new client quickly.
- **What I did.** The whole product, backend and frontend, with data isolation
verified across three layers of code and tests, plus an admin panel for
signup, plans, roles and subscription billing.
- **Outcome.** In production, with active customers paying today. Adding a
business means registering it, not deploying another instance.

**Built with:** TypeScript · Express 5 · Prisma · PostgreSQL · React 19

Includes a logistics calendar with scheduling, routes and tracking in one view,
and a multi-tenant panel where every business has its own plan and users on the
same codebase.

### 02 · Sastre

**Own platform · 2 live stores**

The multi-store ecommerce platform running two real businesses today.

- **Problem.** Every new store meant another server, another database and
another thing to maintain in parallel. It did not scale.
- **What I did.** A single API with its admin panel, designed so that opening a
store means registering it, not standing up infrastructure. Stock per variant
and bulk catalogue upload from Excel.
- **Outcome.** Two live stores on the same codebase: Suburbia, on its own domain
and selling, and Play Zone Mar del Plata.

**Built with:** Node · Express · Prisma · PostgreSQL · Railway

**Live stores:**
- Suburbia — https://suburbiauy.com (own domain, selling)
- Play Zone — Mar del Plata

Stock per variant (size and colour with their own inventory) and CSV reports
with templates and one-click export.

### 03 · Truck and Drinks & Barbac

**Contract work · In use**

Two custom management systems, built around how each business actually operates.

- **Problem.** Businesses running on spreadsheets and generic software that does
not reflect how they actually work: stock, events and quotes in one case,
  internal management in the other.
- **What I did.** I mapped each business's real process and modelled the system
on it, not the other way round. Truck and Drinks runs its own calculation
engines for stock, events and quotes.
- **Outcome.** Both in active use by their clients, with maintenance and new
  features on request.

**Built with:** PHP / Symfony · Symfony 8 · Angular · MongoDB · PostgreSQL ·
AWS with Docker · Railway

Includes real-time deposits and inventory, and logistics recommendations using
advanced operations research: optimal routes, loads and timing per event.

## Stack

**Backend & data**
Node.js (Express) · PHP (Laravel, Symfony) · REST APIs · WebSockets, Socket.io ·
Multi-tenant architecture · PostgreSQL (Prisma) · MongoDB · MySQL

**Frontend**
React · Angular · Astro · TypeScript

**Infra & integrations**
Docker · AWS (EC2, S3) · Railway · Fly.io · GitHub Actions ·
WhatsApp (Baileys) with conversational bots · Mercado Pago · Meta CAPI

## Beyond the products above

I work full-time migrating systems that cannot afford to stop: map what already
exists, migrate it without cutting service, and leave it documented for the rest
of the team. That is where you find out whether the data model was thought
through.
